Eerily predictable and wanting to be comedic when the mood does not call for it, Kapon is unsatisfying even for the die hard ecchi/romantics. It tries to be comedic when the mood does not call for it and is barely classified as "ecchi" when it has less than five PG-like nude scenes. The three volume series is one that can easily be found in bargain bins at Anime Conventions and would be lucky to be bought cheap by a foolish shopper who would be better off buying the similar in plot series Special A or likewise.

This tried to be a romance, but it fell pathetically short. I actually thought I was in for a treat when it didn't spend 30+ chapters on the MC's trying to figure out their feelings... but the readers were backstabbed.
Instead we got overly cliched, obnoxious, and laughably transparent plot points. Ones that weren't even fleshed out. Sometimes the "plot points" were only a few panels. The characters were so obnoxious I had no idea why they were trying to be a couple. The female MC isn't just the typical dense-but-goodhearted heroine, she's the stupid-spoiled-dramatic-immature-unnecessarily argumentative kind. And the boy? Exactly the same.
